UPDATED: AUG 25, 2021 Tasty helles with a fat, malty backbone. Maybe a touch sweet but crisp carbonation helps to cut it.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2021 16 oz. can shared by Shane. Thanks again! Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a finger of white head that settles into a ring and small island. Notes of minerals, lemon, pale malts, straw, wheat, and salinity. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, mineralic mouthfeel. Good.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2020 Pours a cloudy straw with a generous white head. Tastes of lemon, biscuits, and floral tannin are present here. Finishes crisp and dry with a slight lingering and pleasant bitterness. Fairly light and soft mouthfeel. Good beer! Would love to try more from this brewery.

Scipio (2133) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2019
UPDATED: APR 27, 2019 Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. There isn't to much of an aroma here, mild floral elements, bread, and grain is about all there is. The taste offers gentle bitterness. The flavors have some correlation with the nose. Its floral with some grassy hints, bread, biscuit, and slight grain. Quick floral finish. This probably doesn't sound like an exciting description, but it does taste pretty darn good. Also important is that its extremely easy to drink. Light in body and smooth in texture. I'd definitely get this again.

seymour (2587) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - APR 21, 2019
UPDATED: APR 21, 2019 Tasted in a sampler glass at Urban Chestnut's 2019 Lager Summit, it poured a clear golden colour with white foam, lasting with lace. Full malty flavour, grainy and biscuity, with noble hop bitter balance. Grassy, herbal, faint black pepper spice. Light body, moderate carbonation, faint residual sweetness. Good stuff.

Ernest (9030) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2019
UPDATED: APR 6, 2019 Can (Feb 7, 2019 canning). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. A pleasant, clean quaffer...quiet aroma but the hops are my kinda hops; floral and soft. No off notes of any kind and good balance for sluggin' in large quantities; quite authentic. Light bodied but not limp. You could argue it's overly restrained and maybe even heading towards bland, but it's well better than most of its kind.

Draft to taster at Pies & Pints. Looks solid; a slightly hazy 24K gold with white head. Smells of mild notes of floral and a touch of citrusy hops with notes of lager yeast alongside a mildly bittersweet backbone that's more sweet than bitter. Tastes like it smells with a mildly bitter medium light-bodied mouthfeel. Solid and sessionable.
