UPDATED: JAN 6, 2022 Enjoyed on tap at Dreadnought. Pours a light for a brown, copper, amber color. Thin film head. Flavor is a steady, rich grain. Soft milk chocolate and vanilla notes creep in. Candy bar taste. Finishes on more of a cocoa, and mellow on the sweetness. Flavor isn't bad here, and it's a bit of a disguise beer. The flavor seems right, but appearance is tricky. Unique and interesting.
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has red fruits, grains and bread with a bit of booze. Flavor has booze and astringent grains with a hint of fruits.
