BeardedAvenger (5128) - New Haw, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2021UPDATED: OCT 8, 2021 Can ordered from Suds & Soda, Derby. Aroma had juicy citrus and, a dank edge and resin. Fried onions. Hazy pale pineapple yellow-orange. Frothy foamy white head soon fades. Citrus sourness - Juicy but tart. Underlying resin that rises to the top once we hit the home stretch. Spice and onions. Vespers of underlying sweetness. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A juice bomb but a big tart bitter juice bomb.
DrnkMcDermott (3730) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2021UPDATED: SEP 30, 2021 16 oz. can, first time in Chicago market. Big hoppy nose right under the pop tab. Plenty of pine and stone fruit. Calling that a standard American Pale Ale smell. Pours a very hazy yellow beer under a thick, but fizzy head. Big smack of hop bitterness on the first sip. It slowly settles down to more apricot, a bit of vanilla and Bit O'Honey. There is some nice malt sweetness that leaves a thin coating on the lips and palate. A great beer for sipping.
