UPDATED: DEC 27, 2021 2014 vintage Big bottle, Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2021. Pours a red brown and fairly clear. Aroma is Sherry, dark fruit, vineous, wood. Taste is super complex, layered, vineous, wood, slight tart, no sign of the hefty ABV, dark fruits, drinks light, very enjoyable, and dangerous.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2021 Versie met een THT 2018, aangeschaft bij de Caigny. Donkerbruin helder bier met een aanvankelijk beige schuimkraag die snel verdwijnt. Ook het koolzuur is nauwelijks nog aanwezig. Geuren zijn van rood fruit (wijnachtig) en van het gebruikte vat. Het bier heeft een bijna stroperige textuur, waarin de fruitige- en houtsmaak goed tot hun recht komen.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2021 Gekauft bei Belgoshop.de. Das Basisbräu ist das Bush de Noel Weihnachtsbier, das anschließend in Nuits St. Georges Burgunderfässern reift. Dunkelbraune Farbe, etwas trüb. Die Rotweinaromen kommen stark zur Geltung. Ganz viele Aromen im Mund, vor allem Trockenobst und Pflaumen, etwas süßlich und „klebrig“ im Geschmack. Eine tolle Balance zwischen Bier und Wein, ein echtes Highlight. Perfektes Bier für kalte Wintertage.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2021 Reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma of fine French wine, sugar, darker fruit. Fuller bodied, moderate alcohol, warming, very pleasant albeit pricey. World class.

Predominancia de acidez avinada que no resulta excesiva pero que tapa el resto de matices y hace que resulte una experiencia algo anodina. Alcohol bien oculto para 13 grados y belga. Se sube poco a la cabeza

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2020 Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, może nawet bordowy, opalizujący. Piana barwy ecru, wysoka, o średnim czasie redukcji. Aromat słodki i wytrawny zarazem, są ciemne suszone owoce, śliwy, figi, daktyle, są rodzynki. Dalej słodka słodowość, ciemny chleb. Po delikatnym ogrzaniu pojawiają się akcenty winne, winogrona, czerwone owoce. Smak idzie w kierunku winnego, jest lekko kwaskowy, wytrawny, są czerwone owoce, winogrona, wiśnie. Słodowość jest nieco wycofana, choć dalej czuć ciemne owoce. Ponownie ciemne pieczywo, pumpernikiel, trochę akcentów ziemistych. Alkohol tylko na początku delikatnie rozgrzewał. Wysycenie średnie. Sporo ciała. Piwo jest bardzo gładkie, miękkie.
