UPDATED: APR 12, 2020 (Draught at Dynamo, Brussels, 19 Oct 2019) Reddish brown colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramal, chocolate and coffee. Malty, herbal taste with chocolate, coffee and a mild herbal, floral bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting, tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Aroma is moderate malty, spicy, herbs, caramel, spicy ala coriander - ginger (but not coriander - ginger, can read it is yarrow (røllike)). UPDATED: DEC 28, 2018 Tap @ VAF 2018 / 01.12. Deep amber, beige foam. Caramel, light woody herbs, chocolate maybe. Tastes herbal, not too bitter, just slightly chocolaty, medicinal. Bit watery body, not that bad overall but not something I'd want to drink a lot of.

Dark brown body with a minimal head, even when forced. Aroma of mint, juniper, wood. Taste is light sweet, light sour, light bitter. Not much going on in the aftertaste.

Appearance: a rich chestnut red with thick caramel brown foam, aromas: sweet dark rye bread, kvass, and herbal notes, Palate: smooth and milky in texture, full bodied. Taste: very herbal and a rather bitter aftertaste like medicine. Overall: a good example of a herbal beer, but I’m not a fan of the bitter medicine taste. I wish the aromas of sweet rye bread had come out in the taste to balance the bitterness.

Hazy deep red color with medium tan faom. Aromas failry herbaly and fresh almost minty toothpaste feel to extent folowed by hints of rye bread, grains and straw. Palate, medium body with smooth texture leaving long herbal finish. Taste of bitter herbs and with touch of sweet rye bread. Overall, not as complex as expected but not simple either, nice balance between herbal biterness and malt sweetness making it easy to drink and not too harsh, thoguh still carrying herbal medicine flavour and finish. Do recomend!
