hawthorne00 (6630) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 22, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2020 Bottle. Pretty much clear gold with a large white head that fades to an inch. Aroma of crackery dough, lemon pudding, dried orange peel, some tropical fruit, a hint of tea, spices. Just medium bodied, fairly carbonated. A little sweetness that's a bit grainy as well as doughy; quite fruity with apricot and citrus, then dryish and bitter with an extra drying layer of what might be wood or tea. Deftly balanced: rewarding and intriguing yet very drinkable.

tapefuzz (2157) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 17, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2019 Draught. Pours a clear gold with a large, foamy white head. Aroma is floral hops, barnyard, grain, apple, and some oak. Taste is sweet and lightly tart; honey, barnyard, oak, grain, some tea, corn, floral, apple, grapefruit, and a little tropical fruit. Light-medium body. Moderate but spritzy carbonation. Oily mouthfeel - something like syrupy meets fluffy. Very complex but too sweet for my tastes.

Bottle… Pours hazy and golden with a light kiss of orange and a mid-sized, white head. The aroma is bright, fruity, vinous and earthen, featuring lemons, white wine, juicy tropical fruits and whispers of oaken mustiness and funk. Medium-bodied with vibrant carbonation. The flavor offers juicy, fuzzy fruits, white wine and oaken tannins. Finishes crisp and tangy, followed by a moderate level of hop bitterness. Bottle courtesy of MartinT!

ctipping (3902) - Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2017
750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Smells of oak, red wine, some brighter fruitiness. Fascinating. Tastes of tropical fruit up front. Very faint tang from the fruitiness, too. Then it becomes earthy with a distinct tea flavor. The back end has some of the red wine again. Medium light. Complex and dynamic saison. Superb.

Served in a Dunham wine glass. Light tartness and nice citrus and tropical notes. Dry, lingering bitterness after a light, airy body.

wolffish (774) - Saint-Donat, CANADA - DEC 27, 2016
Une bière unique, bien boisée, et dont l’assemblage (proportions) est irréprochable... L’orange, le thé et la gomme de sapin dominent en bouche.
