COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
IPA Gekkie heeft intense fruit-smaken en -aroma’s. De body is zacht en romig, en het bier is troebel. Bij deze IPA Gekkie (NEIPA) ligt de nadruk van de hop vooral aan het einde van de kook en in het dryhoppen, wat weer die extreem fruitige smaken met zich meebrengt. Het bier komt minder bitter over dan bijvoorbeeld de Amerikaanse IPA, maar er zit wel enorm veel hop in.

Slightly sweet, quite fruity-floral taste of gooseberry, grains, lemon peel and passion fruit, followed by a short, hardly bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, inoffensive and easily drinkable but not very outspoken.

Taste is sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty, fruity, slightly citrusy hoppy, hints of melon, lemon, some pineapple, a touch of lemon drops; mild bitterness, subtle sweetness. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Harmonious and balanced, but quite cautious and subtle - OK.
