Dark orange, clear, thin white head with lots of lacing. Aroma is mostly hops. Taste is quite malty however, not a lot of hops. Biscuit and earth notes. Nice ’Southern Hemisphere’ twist on an IPA, a little different.

KeefOz (3372) - TARRAGINDI, AUSTRALIA - NOV 23, 2016
Draught at Archive Beer Boutique, Brisbane. ABV = 7.5%. Poured a translucent honey amber with a 5mm off-white dense foam head that retained well but laced poorly. Carbonation low, slow and coarse. Aroma very subtly of pine, very slight malt and hints of citrus/orange. Taste subtly of pine, hints of citrus (grapefruit, orange) and with a slight sweetness; low bitterness for an IPA; alcohol well hidden. Light to medium body. Crisp and slightly dry with a lingering but low level bitterness on the finish.

7.5% 330 ML bottle Hazy orange, slightly amber color. Looks flat until really worked. Did get a very small white head, falls to a collar. Needs to be a bit more lively. Nose has lime, pine, citrus, orange and lime sherbet. Slightly mineral like. Big malt body to start. Some orange and orange peel. Not as much citrus as the nose lead on. Much bigger malt body. Some residue in the mouth, big pine and citrus kick in the end. That worked well. Keep thinking this needs more carbonation to make this really sing.

Pyobon (2279) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 11, 2016
(Bottle) Cloudy golden amber with tiny off-white head. Nice aroma - pine and citrus. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste is driven by hops from start to long bitter finish. There’s some pleasant caramel malt in the background. The alcohol is hidden. Nice strong IPA.

Bottle, 11C. (bottle says ABV is 7.5%) Unclear pale amber with a small white head. Aroma has oranges, menthol, tinned passionfruit. Lowish carbonation, oily. Sweet with oranges, sherbet, hay, some tropical fruit. Pine and pepper build towards a bitter finish I found slightly harsh.

Davros (4374) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2015
Pours amber/orange with a large, lasting white head. Nose shows grassy, piny and resinous hops along with some caramel malt notes. Flavours include grain malt and cardboard notes along with pine and grapefruit.
