UPDATED: APR 9, 2021 Bottle 50 cl. Golden?? It's almost the color of a Dunkel - very unusual. A clear brownish with a tiny, off-white head. Slightly crispy malts in the nose. Medium body, quite fizzy, a slight roastiness or perhaps rather cocoa accets, a vague hint of caramel. An unusual Märzen - like a small Dunkler Bock. 090421

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2021 500 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear golden with white head. Crisp malty with some sweet corn and grassy hops. Semi dry with low to medium bitterness and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2020 Bottle from Systembolaget. A malty aroma. Mahogany colour. A nice and dark sweet taste. Tasted quite profound to me but having seen its lowish rating and reflecting, I suppose there is some metal in there. One of those beers I thought I would give a very high rating to until I rated. Easy going though for sure and pleasant.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2020 500 ml can Alpenkönig Gold Märzen. Pours golden colour with white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy. Taste is grassy hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2020 Bottled from Systembolaget Deep alver, medium head. Sweet and malty with some bitterness.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2020 500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Toffee, bread and corn in the aroma. The taste is dominated by toffee but some hints of rye can also be detected.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2020 Bottle from Systembolaget. Deep golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of toast, light toffee, earth, floral hops and light dms. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of toast, caramel and light dms. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. A bit cloying, simple and also dms forward. Not great.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2020 Big, semilasting off white head. Clear dunke brown color. Typical light roaste and a bit of caramell malt aroma. Light caramell sweetness and roasted malts with a firm bitterness but also a bit metallic/mineral taste. Firm body balance the bitterness.

Taste; syrup grass, straw, sweet malts, roasted malts, raisin caramel, and finishes quite alright with awakening hops. Feel; normal body n okay co².
