It's an okay American IPA. Just nothing that really stands out. For this beer this time hops our okay but not especially fresh the beer is somewhat balanced and good drinking just nothing to write home about.

Pours a really fucking clear amber from a bottle. Unassuming tropical fruit aroma and flavor, a little pine? Maybe? Not bad, not great, just good.

The_Osprey (10582) - WALES - JAN 21, 2018
January 2018 - Tasting in Hackney. Bottle shared with big thanks to Kenny. As 'El Segundo Clear A.F. IPA', 6.9%. Pale yellow, translucent (could be clearer!), still, foamy off-white head leaves full lacing. Aroma is musty, malts, faint sulphur even – but more sort of musty. Body is frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste has lots of tea – black tea, green tea, Earl Grey tea, some liquorice and aniseed, very light malt character, a little floral. Quite clean but otherwise nothing too exciting. Quite enjoy the 'anti-hazy IPA' premise but I'm not a big fan of the beer. (5-4-6-3-13=3.1)
