This is a delicious and refreshing NW IPA apparently based on one of their better known offerings called the Savant. The flavor is absolutely terrific. Plenty of body and malt and imperceptibly potent (8%). The hopping is unusual for an ale as they used German Hallertau. Why not? Right? This brew is tied for the best I've had this week in Seattle.

Reminded me of Hale's IPA of the month for June. SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop - (Simcoe)

The Savant Blanc uses a different hop, but I assume that both brews double down on administration of hops late in their production, resulting in low bitterness but abundant in juicy Hop flavor and aroma.
