UPDATED: JUN 21, 2021 Dark amber with a lingering one fingered white head. Malty hints of sweetness on the nose. Good carbonation pushes the beer around the back of the mouth to reveal some hops with bitterness. I detect hints of figs or plums with an aftertaste of elderberries. Refreshing but slightly sweet. I always enjoy this as my first bier of the day as it pairs with lunch. Pairs with pork and apple, lamb (mutton) and mint or a good feed of bangers' with potato and gravy.
