Served in a small snifter... I was expecting something bigger, but it is a fine drink. It has a cloudy light brown with a respectable eggshell head. The aroma had some older bananas, a dash of clove, soft malts, and a touch of rust. Very light and soft in the mouth. The flavor pretty well reflected the aroma save for a light lemon twist near the finish. Nice.

Draught at the Downers Grove location 01/05/2008. 9% alcohol served in a snifter at a nice temperature. Appeared foggy murky brown, lighter towards the top as the light shows through. Little off-white head. Taste and aroma are similar, heavy sweet cloves, banana, a lurking warmth of alcohol. Has a nice full mouthfeel and a lingering tartness of citrus. Very nice.
This is a fine beer, with one problem. Color is cloudy light chocolate, smells of fruit and chocolate, tastes fruity, but not overly fruity. Good beer, but the hops are little too strong for this style, and are more medicinal than it should be.
