DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2021UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 Copenhagen 24/11 2021. 47,3 cl can from Din Øl (dinol.dk) web-shop. The top of an apple surrounded by cranberries on the yellow can.
Pours opaque, murky amber with a small, bubbly white head which disappears after a few seconds. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary odor mingling with a more subdued sour scent. Apple cake and sugar. Sour whiff of unripe cranberries.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, soft, creamy and flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and cake-like. Finish is sweet and sticky.
On the verge of being a bit cloying and it does not help that it gets thicker and lumpier as I approached the bottom of the can.
Plovmand (11038) - Grindsted, DENMARK - SEP 19, 2021UPDATED: SEP 19, 2021 Can. It pours murky orange reddish with a fizzy white head. Loads of cinnamon and sweet apples in this. Like an apple pie stuffed with cinnamon. Cookie dough and some red berries. This is intense and actually very tasty. Bit sour finish.
