simontomlinson (4357) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2021 Tight foamy white head stayed on a highly carbonated unclear golden body. Sweet, cereal & bready aroma. Medium bodied, tickly with a smooth cloying back. Sweet, citrus, biscuit & cereal tastes with a lightly hopped finish. Very refreshing.

Scopey (21884) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - JUN 3, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2021 330ml bottle consumed in the summer sun. It pours clear copper with a frothy white cap. The aroma is sweet, grainy, hay, estery fruits, pear, apple, big hit of warming clove, bruised banana, toasty grain and bread. The taste is fairly crisp and dry intially, bitter bite, bready malts, grass, earthy, wood, quite spicy, peppery, clove rock, orchard fruits, toaster grain and hay with a drying and spicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Feels a bit muddled to be honest. Lacks clarity.

EdKing (3394) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2021 Bottle from Hop, Burns & Black. Clear orangey blonde beer with a white bubbly foam head. Nose is apricot, baguette crust, fruity yeast esters, crisp, toasted grains. Taste is crisp, fruity, apricot, toasted grains, bread, barley grains, nice even bitterness.

BlackHaddock (12580) - The County Time Forgot, Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 21, 2021 33cl bottle: BB 4th Dec 2021. Poured at home on 21st May 2021. Clear golden orange body, white/off-white head. Marmalade aroma and taste, so orange like in nature. Yeasty too, with a malty undertone, it's the wheat that is giving me the orange nose and flavours (I think).

Saeglopur (3713) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAY 2, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2021 330 ml bottle, bb 04.08.21 Orange, moderate hazy body, with a medium, dissipating, yellowish head. Aroma of dough, grass, flowers, bread, lemongrass, pepper, sweet fruits, some herbs. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes doughy, peppery, floral, a bit fruity, grassy, hoppy. Really nice. The name is a bit misleading, this isn't a Zwickel Lager, but a Belgian style ale. Yeast-forward, hoppy and fruity, with a nice, creamy body. Quaffable stuff. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 14

LagerGuide122 (803) - - APR 27, 2021
UPDATED: APR 27, 2021 330ml bottle brewed in Austria at 4.7%. Hazy orange-amber with a nice-sized, good duration head. Smooth leafy apricot and peach in the aroma, on top of light sweet doughy malt. Hint of clove appears with warmth. Moderate- carbonation, robust yet refreshing texture. Sweet pale cookie dough malt. Light apricot and peach notes, and more than a suggestion of that classic Zwickl cooked carrot. A little herbal twang in the aftertaste. Gentle, balanced and flavourful, but the Zwickl is something of a boutique style for a reason. At 4.7%, though, this is indubitably masterfully brewed.

nathanvc (4147) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 24, 2021
UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 Bottle from Geers. Clear dark golden, thinning, off-white head. Aroma of apple, unripe pear, apricot, yeast, honey, bread crust, garden herbs, soap. Taste has sweetish red apple & apricot but hardly estery, supported by slick honey-bready maltiness, gently wheaty sour too with spicy accents. Grassy hoppy finish, spicy, yeasty, softly fruity still. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Enjoyable example of the classic style.
