mike_77 (11723) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JAN 9, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Dark brown with thin head. Aroma has jammy red fruits and malty sweetness. Roasted malt bitterness. Sweet and full of raspberries. Sweeter milk chocolate elements are subtle and stay in the background.

IrishBoy (4503) - Bakersfield, California, USA - NOV 9, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2021 Bomber from the Utah State Liquor Store in Cedar City, Release #2, 11.6% ABV. Nose is very heavy raspberries, astringency, dark chocolate, and just a hint of vanilla. Black with a medium, heavy lacing, cinnamon tan head. Flavor is semisweet chocolate, tart raspberries, and a little sweetness. Not as good as I hoped.

glennmastrange (3404) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 4, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2021 Bottle. Heavy dark chocolate, toasted and dark bread for the malt, light resin for the hops, light earth for the yeast, with raspberry and a hint of charcoal in the background. Head is small, creamy, brown, with good thick lacing and good legs, and is mostly lasting. Color is just about black. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly sweet acidic and bitter. Palate is full, creamy, with a soft carbonation, a chalky feel, and lightly alcoholic finish. Excellent Flavored Imperial Stout with the perfect amount added raspberry.

FROTHINGSLOSH (11821) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2021 Black with a small foamy brown head that left decent lacing. Sweet raspberry jam, chocolate, and toasty malt. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Idiosynkrasie (13823) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 19, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2021 650ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige to tan head. Fruity, raspberry aroma with pulpy, fruit acidic and earthy aspects, widely disguised, chocolately, dark malty background, late whiffs of coffee. Taste is surprisingly fresh, fruity, notes of raspberry with pulpy and fruit acidic aspects, a touch of lemon and citric acid, slightly roasty and chocolately, dark malty basis, some roasty and hoppy bitterness; well hidden alcohol. Lingering finish with a slow fade out of raspberry flavours, increase of roasty, chocolately malty flavours, some coffee comes in, finally the alcohol becomes noticeable. Surprisingly watery texture (or fruit acid thinned, slightly creamy texture), dry, minimally astringent, simultaneously smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, very fine, creamy, in combination with fruit acidic aspects quite efficacious carbonation. Surprisingly light and easy drinkable, raspberry dominated, relatively reserved malty basis lacks self-reliance; not that good as Impy Stout but I like raspberry a lot - quite OK.

Tmoney99 (19268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 14, 2021 Draft. Poured black color with a average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted dark chocolate, dark berry and soft alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy dark chocolate malt and berry flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet and small alcohol bite finish of long duration. Full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is another standout version of this beer.

AWISLguy (5965) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 13, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2021 650ml bottle from Craft Beer Cellar in Pewaukee cellared 5 months. Served colder than cellar temperature. Very dark brown pour. Aroma has big jammy raspberry, sweet malts, some chocolate - which seems more cocoa-y - and oak. Taste is of sweet malts, oak, cocoa & raspberry. Muddled, and not distinct. Interesting barrel. Medium to full bodied, the blend is solid/good, but no better. Tart & tangy fruity finish, with a bit of sweet. Not the best of this series ... which sounds that it will be going away. Solid. 13.8

Fisler (2189) - Bamberg, GERMANY - MAY 16, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2021 Schwarz wie die Nacht, in der Nase Kirschkompott. Im Trunk ebenso deutlich, dazu aber Mousse aux Chocolat - langer Dessertabgang, Schoko-Kirsch-Traum, Kirscheasser, Zartbitter-Schokolade. Zum Reinlegen geil.

alexsdad06 (16451) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAR 20, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2021 22 oz. bottle from Jungle Jim's shared with Mike and Chris. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, chocolate, raspberry with alean toward artificial and slightly tart, mild whiskey and oak character, the chocolate and raspberry would work better if the raspberry character was fresh, I hoped for more.

Rasmus40 (30538) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2021 Bottle from Beerdome. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and raspberry. Flavor is very sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Oily and soft. 130321
