Pour on tap at Black Bottle, clear yellow-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of red fruit, berry, some grass into a bit of spice, yeast, touch of earthy notes, slight biscuit and bread. Taste had a mix of grass, bread, biscuit, touch of earth, nice spice and yeasty notes into some red fruit, red berry, cherry, finishing slightly sweet, dry.

On tap at brewery. Pours a reddish amber. Aroma is great, blackberries and stone fruit. Flavor starts traditional saison and finishes with smooth slightly tart berries.

Poured from tap to tulip. Hazy pinkish orange hue with white head. Aroma is white peppercorn, blackberry, straw, earthy. Taste is dry sweetness with a nice spicy astringent following. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and good carbonation. Overall this is a pretty good brew but overly blackberry.

Draft - Funky citrus but no really berry. Clear gold with a rich head. Fruity funky and super dry. Do I get berry? Not really, but still OK.

Slightly hazy dark copper under a thin rocky off white head with the subtlest hint of a purple hue. Aroma is subtle but pleasant with a earthy fruity tone and quiet barn hay. Perhaps a little too subtle for its own good. The flavor is smooth and balanced, not tart or too sweet, but just the right amount of Belgian barn malt and a little dark berry fruitiness. A bit flat, flavor wise but quaffable and smooth and kinda charming.

On tap at the Denver brewery. Pour is clear salmon with a nice white head and good lacing. Waxy, phenolic, somewhat tannic, biscuity, straw, light pepper, banana, and fruit peel in the aroma. Taste is semi-sweet, peaches and blueberries, biscuit, phenols, pepper, wax, straw, and berries with a spicy finish. Light body with high carbonation. Nice easy drinking summer saison.

On tap at Colorado Plus poured a clear pinkish amber with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of straw, blackberry, yeast and light pepper. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, blackberry, yeast and light pepper with a smooth dry lingering blackberry finish.

Tap at the Denver tap room - pours a clear light red, almost a purplish hue - nose is earthy blackberry skin, very light phenols and esters, moderately tart acidity - fairly high carbonation, but it is fairly soft, with a fairly full and round mouthfeel - flavor is mostly dry, tart, and crisp, with some moderate blackberry, some mineral, a touch of earth/funkiness - a light saltiness through the middle makes way for a finish that is lightly sweet, with mildly spicy phenols - not much like a saison, but a pretty nice, light summer fruit beer.

10 oz at the brewery. Pours almost pink or light red with some pink hues showing up in the head. The aroma is dusty and moldy, for some reason. Probably the way the blackberries interact with the esters. The flavor is clean and I don’t really make the same association as I did with the nose. Blackberry is up front in the flavor, but not overwhelming. Clove notes makes for a weird combination . It’s clean and balanced, but not my favorite.

On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Pale orange and hazy appearance with a white head. Aroma of earthy yeast, light bitter hops, crisp malts, and light citrus zest. Similar flavor, adding light herbs and some spice. The blackberry aspect is very mild. Medium body, pretty smooth with a crisp, light dry finish.
