COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear amber-copper colour, small off-white head and lace. Tropical fruits and butter in the nose. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruits, caramalt, sweet berries in the flavour. Too much sweetness here cutting the bitter end.

Marstonlad (1313) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 31, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2019 Bottle from K-supermarket, Helsinki. Pours coppery brown with a little white head. The aroma features bready, slightly toasty maltiness with some hoppy citrusy fruitiness. Taste is dryish, initially mostly malty, in the finish light to medium bitter. Flavours of bread, bisquit, herbs and a touch grapefruit in the finish. Fairly balanced between hops and malts. The mouthfeel is slick, light to medium bodied; average to lively carbonation. Decent session ale but not an ipa.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2019 Really looking forward to the moment when beer styles are regulated - like wines are. I would classify this as a good bitter but not an IPA.

jann3 (769) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUL 1, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2019 Pours hazy amber with smallish off-white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of ripe tropical fruits, cereal and a hint of honey. Taste follows the aroma. Sweet fruity flavour dominates. Finishes with faint sourness of grapefruit. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft to average carbonation. A drinkable brew, though rather sweet for an IPA. (Poured from a 0,5l bottle, brewed on 25.04.2019)
