COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all – it must taste rare!

BillKismet (4650) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 12, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2021 Black-bodied, thick chocolate poofy head with pick air pockets. Bouquet of chocolate and black licorice notes and sweet chocolate liquor. Starts off with deep, dark, vinous chocolate on the palate and then the black licorice vein grows and dominates. A nice, complex, imperial stout.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2021 On the radar for a while, I finally got a 16 oz can of Even More Jesus from Half Time, thank you very much. Pouring into a snifter, oh wait, is that Pennzoil or a hefty imperial stout? I will go with the latter this time. Very dark, just this side of totally black. Nonexistent head. I get a down-to-business scent, heavy with the chocolate, tobacco and dark fruit. I have a drink, right away I get charcoal (not a favorite), dark chocolate, black licorice, raspberries and leather. Very full sensation and that is a positive. Warming up, the taste improves. This was not the experience I had hoped for but I am still looking at a quality brew.

GlenPiWi (343) - Vilvoorde, BELGIUM - SEP 27, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 Pours pitch black with light brown/beige head. Nice, rather subtle nose on roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Medium creamy sticky mouthfeel, beef stock, dark chocolate, roasted coffee bitterness, a bit balanced with a bit of alcohol sweetness, the bitterness wins though. Alcohol very well hidden.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2021 Evil Twin Even More Jesus Pastry Stout 12% Pitch black and blessed with a rusty deep tan head that’s thick and smelling incredibly toasted toffee, savory dark chocolate and roasted dark malts. Full bodied with a smooth somewhat velvety texture. This savory dark stout oozes savory elements. It reminds me of Dark Lord and other big bold savory stouts that scream to be barrel aged.
