COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English Language Label: This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or enjoy this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo).

Can. Hazy deep brown. Tan head. Well-lacing. Aroma: roast, capuccino, dried fruit. A hint of yeast. Full body. Taste: vinous, quite dry, malty, roasted. Solid bitterness. Well-tasting but not among the best Evil Twin impies.

beerplace (6389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2018
355ml bottle from Spirits of Mt. Seymor LRS. Pours an almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma is sweet, some molasses, leather notes. Similar taste with roasted malt notes, some light burnt sugar, sweet berries, and hoppy bitterness. Roasted malt hoppy aftertaste. Very nice, a good representative of the style.

11/V/18 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home - BB: n/a, "198:15 08:20" (2018-695)

Clear dark brown to black beer, big dense creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: some alcohol, dried fruits, plums, bit acidic, lots of chocolate, little oxidized (I have been holding on to this bottle for quite a while, think about a year or 3?), nice roast, some mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty roasted start, slightly sweet, some alcohol, little sourish, dried fruits, plums, rich and earthy flavours, quite some chocolate. Aftertaste: sweet, alcohol, some banana peel, roasted, bitter, dark chocolate, coffee grit, ashes, bitter hops.

alteregoo (4117) - Kalisz, POLAND - MAR 27, 2018
Niskie do średniego wysycenie, średnie body.
Ogólnie raczej przeciętny, mało intensywny (poza goryczką) RIS, dla mnie decydowani za mało "cielisty", za mało słodki.

Derbeth (1973) - Kraków, POLAND - FEB 9, 2018
Can. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is intensive dark chocolate, some ash, some milk chocolate. Alcohol does not disturb. Light bitterness, no sweetness. Smooth, not too heavy. Classy imperial stout.

yoxik75 (1006) - Wroclaw, POLAND - JAN 16, 2018
Piana drobna powoli opada. Kolor czarny. Aromat czekolada, karmel, melanoidyny, lekko owoce. Smak, gorzka czekolada, kawa, lekka słodycz, karmel, estry, nuty opiekanych słodów, melanoidyn, popielniczki, zielonego chmielenia. Na finiszu delikatnie alkohol iwyraźnie zaznaczona pasująca goryczką. Bardzo Dobre bez szaleństw.
