UPDATED: OCT 14, 2021 0,75 bottle in Serbia. Dark coffee bean pour with a tick and compact cappuccino foam. Nose: totally smells like a classic Belgian ale, spice and lime with a slight coffee overall. Mouth: here the coffee flows and dominates, fighting a bit with the whole and messing a lot with the Belgian core of the drink. Peculiar

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2021 Bottle. Color: Dark reddish brown, frothy beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, subtle coffee notes, hints of nuts. Taste: Slightly sour like coffee can be, moderate sweet and light bitterness, going to moderate at finish. Notes of coffee, mocha, dark malt, caramel and chocolate hints. Light hints of farmyard and leathery funk. Light funky hints, spicy hints. Medium body, average carbonation. A little more bitterness and spicy at the finish, but not 'very bitter taste' as stated on the label. Saison with subtle coffee and quite a lot of carbonation. Nice Fantôme.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2021 Liquide marron profond avec mousse abondante et légère. Nez cerise café et légèrement boisé avec une touche d'amandes. En bouche, c'est une attaque café noisettes devançant un côté cerise boisé assez puissant !!

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2019 2016 bottle, many thanks kraddel! Unclear deep amber color with beige head. Aroma is cherries, coffee, woody, very balanced. Taste is lightly tart cherries, coffee, light funk. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very weird, but nice and balanced.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2019 75cl Bottle @ Beer Mania, Brussels, Belgium. Hazy brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, coffee. Taste is malt, coffee, slightly fruity and nutty. Medium body, average carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2018 Small light-brown frothy head. Fair lacing. Mostly diminishing. Murky brown body. Aroma:coffee, moderate malt, strawberry jam. Initial flavor: light acidic (reminiscent of plum) and moderate sweet (strawberry jam). Final flavor:moderate sweet, light acidic, very light bitter; long duration. Palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation and light astringent finish. 220s

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry, hay, mild espresso, minerals, bark, yeast, grass, weeds, almonds. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, bark, wood, hay, yeast, minerals, mild espresso, rope, grass, light malts. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2018 Pours dirty brown with a small white wisp. Aroma is light coffee and grains. Taste is much the same. I am not a big coffee guy so this was better enjoyed by the guys I shared this with.
