UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 Corked and capped 750 mL bottle from Beer Run, 12/25/21. And quite nice to crack open on Christmas in my new Fantome glass which I’ll probably never use again. Pours mostly head. Tan, frothy. Amber. Aroma of stone fruit, melon, pepper, marzipan. Taste is stone fruit, white grape, plum, raisin. Full bodied. Soft carb. Interesting.

tapefuzz (2157) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 5, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2020 750mL bottle. Pours a golden orange-copper with a large, foamy beige head. Aroma is white pepper, apple, orange, some honey, some grain, and just a little more spice. Taste is grain, pepper, honey, flowers, light coriander, some orange, a touch of funk, and a little earth. Moderate bitterness. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Effervescent mouthfeel. Initially pepper dominates the nose and pepper/grain/honey the palate, but it really gains in complexity as it opens up/warms up.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2019 75CL. Green bottle. Pourers a dark orange 2 finger off white head. Smells like cereal and grain and wheat and spelt. Flavor is exquisite. Tastes just like a German beer I was in Berlin for a week and this is basically a German beer. Delicious.chewy malt, cereal, sourdough bread. Pepper.
