Highly refreshing. Pours golden yellow with white lacy head. Definitely a summer beer. Good hoppy flavor for a Pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Pours and looks like a pilsener. Hoppy aroma like an IPA but tastes like a pilsener. Medium bodied. Nice hop balanced finished. A friend said it tastes like a Prussian pilsener. Worth having again.

On tap at the Brewpub in Portland. Almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of grass, citrus and cake batter. The finish was on the dry side.

On tap at the Portland brewpub - Pours clear bright yellow with a white head. The aroma has mild crisp pils malt, leafy noble hops and is very clean. It has a medium body that’s a bit full for the style and mild soft carbonation. The flavor starts with pale pils malt, mild fruits, fresh cut grass, sulfur and some stone fruits. The finish has dry hops, minerals and sulfur. Solid pils.

Tap at Fat Head’s. A: Cloudy straw, thin white head. N: Straw, pine, grist, some coriander, floral elements, and plenty of cracker to prop it all up. T: Sweet and just bitter enough. Very clean. M: Light body, crisp carbonation, no alcohol. O: A very clean and very delicious pilsener. When Heater Allen isn’t available, this will do in a pinch, and I would like to try them side by side.

On tap @ Fat Heads PDX. Clear golden pour with a white head. Pretty nice bready malts on the nose. Slightly skunky and herbal hops, big time grass, and fresh flowers. Mild fruity esters. Good bready malt flavor and a hint of sweet biscuit dough. Solid bitterness of grass and herbal hops leading to a somewhat dry finish. Enjoyable.
