phaleslu (14680) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 11, 2022UPDATED: JAN 11, 2022 Draft at the brewpub, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy amber-brown with a small tan head that settles into a ring and thin, nearly complete film. Heavy peppermint, with dark chocolate, tobacco, and roasted malts. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, minty mouthfeel. Must love mint.
jsquire (6238) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 7, 2016Dark beer with a thin brown head. Very aromatic nose of rich chocolate and mint. This is a very rich, chocolaty beer with nice mint notes. This dies taste like a Thin Mint or an Andes. An entire pint is a bit much, but this is very tasty.
DrSilverworm (11039) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 12, 20154oz x2 on tap at the brewery. Awesome, big mint and kind of darker chocolate aroma up front. My first thought is Andes bar, but then there is a definite cookies & creme aroma in the finish, kind of cake-like. End result, the full flavor is pretty spot-on Thin Mint cookie. Black color. Ring of brown head, loose lace. Nice moderate bitter taste, lighter to moderate sweet, with a great, super-long thin mint aftertaste. Medium-bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light dry finish. Delicious. Wish I got a larger pour of this one.
