COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chocolate with a whiff of peppermint, this stout is built for the winter season. Using their innovative Mint Cookie recipe, FSB Member-Owners Niall Foster and the late Jim Witmer won the 2015 FSB Member-Owner Homebrew Competition with an American stout that delivers a taste many will immediately recognize and swear comes straight from those green boxes. Moderately roasted malts complemented by pleasing notes of chocolate and mint headline a flavor profile that’s backed by a strong cookie vibe sure to highlight your holiday season. Judge this delicious treat for yourself! Please note that this beer contains lactose.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2022 Draft at the brewpub, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy amber-brown with a small tan head that settles into a ring and thin, nearly complete film. Heavy peppermint, with dark chocolate, tobacco, and roasted malts. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, minty mouthfeel. Must love mint.

Dark beer with a thin brown head. Very aromatic nose of rich chocolate and mint. This is a very rich, chocolaty beer with nice mint notes. This dies taste like a Thin Mint or an Andes. An entire pint is a bit much, but this is very tasty.

4oz x2 on tap at the brewery. Awesome, big mint and kind of darker chocolate aroma up front. My first thought is Andes bar, but then there is a definite cookies & creme aroma in the finish, kind of cake-like. End result, the full flavor is pretty spot-on Thin Mint cookie. Black color. Ring of brown head, loose lace. Nice moderate bitter taste, lighter to moderate sweet, with a great, super-long thin mint aftertaste. Medium-bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light dry finish. Delicious. Wish I got a larger pour of this one.
