COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Finch’s Pale Ale is a refreshing experience from the pop of the top. Its fresh and hoppy taste with just enough supporting malt makes it easy to kick back more than just one. Our late kettle additions of American hop varieties and dry hopping techniques make this beer one of our favorites. The citrus hop character balanced with a malty backbone creates a delicious, accessible pale ale that is sure to satisfy with every sip. Enjoy this pale with just about any pairing of your choice.

Can on the way to JFK. Pours clear amber-gold with a frothy, mostly white head. The aroma holds old pine, light caramel and toasted biscuits. Medium sweet flavour with lots of biscuity malts, grains, pine, orange rind. Moderately bitter. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. More toasted grains in the finish, old pine, earth, caramel. Perhaps a bit faded. So so overall.

Canned. Gold. Some earthy hops and pine aroma. Bit of resin. A nice murican pale ale.

ganache (6721) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Pint can. Nose strong in dough and pine, citric and somewhat dank, lightly herbal. Slightly hazy orange pour with a tight, rocky beige head. Medium body soft and faintly tart with medium-strong bitterness, copious resinous material and light leafy greens, somewhat soapy, but the citrus is dulled and not explosive, the caramel and pine as well. Thin, simplistic malt with too much alcohol showing, seems to be clean but all of the potentially interesting edges have been crudely shorn away.

can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy dark amber with a frothy white head, swaths of lace. Taste is malt imbued with vanilla and earthy hay that grows neatly in the palate before adding bittering in a long finish. Quite rich and appealing, a solid Pale Ale.

Can. Golden color with a medium head. Nice beer, none of the terrible bitter aftertaste of some IPAs. Aroma is hay, grains, a touch of grapefruit. Taste is A malty grain with the right amount of grapefruit tasting hops. Nice.

3.4
hotstuff (5394) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 2, 2014
Rated on 7-27-2012 (Can) This beer pours a medium sized off-white head with a long retention, golden transparent body and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, caramel malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, citrus hops and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is right on for the style, easy to drink, worth trying, and is an APA that I would drink again.
