beerplace (6389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 24, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2021 12oz @ Matt's. Appearance: almost black with a tan head. Aroma: mostly tequila and molasses, some bourbon. Taste: along the same lines, more on the thin side compared to the most of anniversary beers I've had. Overall: well, this is still a good beer, but it's the worst Anniversary FW beer I've had so far. Not sure what happened to the blenders at FW this year, maybe they had been affected by COVID, but this is the worst beer of the series so far.

mcberko (34280) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 24, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2021 12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is complex, with gentle tequila, bourbon, some liqueur, and dark fruits. Flavour is full of dark dried fruits upfront, followed by brandy, bourbon, and a hint of tequila. The carbonation is on the higher side, and maybe the blend isn't as elegant as their past anniversary beers, but it's still very good. Largely harnessing the dark fruits and liqueur-like notes. Excellent for sure, but not at the heights of past instalments.

coachd (2388) - O'Fallon, Missouri, USA - DEC 22, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2021 Nice sweet aroma, good quad notes, lots of dark fruit, chocolate and oak. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Nutty flavor, again with a heavy quad influence. Unique finish with tequila, oak and chocolate. Pretty good.

ZacM612 (1378) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - DEC 20, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2021 Draft at Brass Tap. Opaque with thin, cream-colored head. Strong cocoa, vanilla, and boozy aroma. Sweet with chocolate, vanilla, and a slight boozy finish. Smooth.

slowrunner77 (19086) - Reno, Nevada, USA - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Brown with a thin tan cap. The dominant barrel is definitely bourbon, with the base beer skewing dark. Pleasantly bigish body, smooth, and enough complexity from the blend to get oak, brandy and even a hint of tequila. 4.3+

bb (14189) - Alamo, California, USA - DEC 16, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2021 Bottle. Dark mahogany beer with a tan head. Chocolate and bourbon aroma with marshmallow and light brandy. Brandy and red wine flavor with chocolate. Medium bodied. Brandy and red wine linger with chocolate and light spice.

Gerbeer (5947) - Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 3, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2021 12 oz bottle. Pour black with no head. Aromas of caramel, soft oak, soft bourbon and dark fruit. Rich, sweet flavors follow same. A little alcohol and heat in the finish. Well done.

BeerandBlues2 (18499) - Woodland Park, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2021 Bottle at home. Pours nearly opaque black with a small, frothy tan head, short retention. Moderate toffee and caramel, medium dates, figs, and cherries, light tequila and Bourbon, vanilla and oak with a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

3.7
bytemesis (13152) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 23, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2021 Bottle. Pours clear mahogany, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is malty, cocoa, molasses, hint of anise, bourbon, earth. Perhaps tequila now that I am reading that. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Full body. Good, but not really up to expectations for this classic beer.
