Tart cherry, a touch of salt, melons and a great amount of sour. The malts and hops are overpowered by sour beer. There is a residual sweetness in the background.
Appearance: Slightly hazy, highly carbonated and a burnt orange color. The head is bright white, consisting of small bubbles and the head remains a centimeter thick. Lacing is strong.
Flavor: Sour but pleasant, a tart sweetness with Granny Smith apple flavors, a touch of caramel sweetness, and tart cherry flavors. There is also a sour warhead bite impression. Balance is sour, finish is dry.
Mouthfeel: High carbonation, body is thin, no noticable alcohol warmth. Is not creamy, no noticeable astringency. Residual dryness from the high carbonation, a touch of a carbonic bite.
Overall: A very impressive sour, complex flavors, and a great depth. The beer is sour as expected, but balanced with a good level of sweetness to clean the impression of from strong sour flavors. Very enjoyable.
