Schnabelhund (152) - TAIWAN - SEP 22, 2021UPDATED: SEP 22, 2021 Double Jack pours a faintly cloudy golden to amber color and sports a frothy off-white head with good retention. The dense, hop-forward bouquet is bursting with peach, citrus, lychee, floral, and pine notes. The attack is dry, yet the aroma of caramelized malt appear on the palate up front. The grippy mid-palate is introduced by pine notes before the bitterness turns the citrus into very dominant grapefruit, followed by bright fruit notes of pineapple, peach, and apricot as well as floral undertones. These notes carry over to the finish, which is dry, long, and sprinkled with a faint hint of anise. The medium carbonation accentuates the complex interactions of flavors without being in their way. Absolutely fantastic.
McGarnigle (729) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 13, 2021UPDATED: JUN 13, 2021 Can from 12-pack. Really nice looking clear copper beer. Good malt backbone and lots of fruits from the hops, not just citrus/pine. Long aftertaste. Not boozy at all.

Chadhami (628) - - MAR 28, 2021UPDATED: MAR 28, 2021 So this is a very good double ipa. It didn’t blow me away but doubles usually don’t due to overpowering bitterness. This obviously had strong bitter profile but not so bad, also washed down easy for a double.
hershiser2 (7469) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 27, 2021UPDATED: FEB 27, 2021 Kroger can. I'm sure I've had this before... falls into the 'I think I've already rated it' category, so not even going to look that up. Anyway... Clear medium gold with a small white head. Pine, resin, citrus peel nose. Nice flavor of pine, orange and grapefruit peel, caramel, resin, a bit of spice. Hides the booze.
kwik-lime (4206) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2020UPDATED: DEC 9, 2020 Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Didn't realise it was 9.5% til I loaded it up here, which says a lot for how well it hides the alcohol. Tonnes of piney hops, sweet malt to balance, a little citrus. This is really good.
ruuurd (1854) - Zutphen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 27, 2020UPDATED: NOV 27, 2020 Clear orange pour with rocky off white head. Bitter but also juicy and sweet, with a dry, piney aftertaste. Nicely balanced, not overly sweet
