COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We humbly offer you Feral One on the occasion of our third anniversary. Feral One is an annual blend of our best efforts, from hand-selected well-aged barrels, chosen by the Masterblender and Barrelmeister. An earthy funky nose gives way to complex ester notes of dried apricots, strawberry, guava and slight orange zest. Toasted mature oak, lavender, vanilla and cinnamon lurk in the background. A mouth-watering acidity and soft tannins are punctuated by a firm carbonation. Savor now, or age longer for a special occasion. A Santé!

NikkTwist (4993) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 5, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2019 Draft at Bru Craft. Bottom on a keg from Sour Bowl. Foggy golden orange pour. An initial overabundance of white foam but it settled quickly. Complex oaky sour. Apple skins. White cherries. Donut peaches. Green grapes. Faint raspberries. Well handled funk. Good stuff!

Draft served in tulip glass. Orange golden and clear, with medium body. Strong tart fruit aroma and delicious sour taste.

beer-yum (3530) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 22, 2017
Restrained tart aroma in a hazy amber pour. Similarly tart taste profile is nicely balanced - but lacks the subtlety of the Belgian masters (to my mind at least).

On tap at What the Funk V. Pours a cloudy orange with thick frothy off white head. The aroma is strong funk, lacto, oak. Medium body, apple skin, funk, oak, light tartness, very good.

Dank smell. Super-fruity taste and a long sour finish. Had it at Firestone in Paso Robles. Low alcohol, lots of aroma and flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Barrelworks. It pours a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma has yogurt, lemon and brett funk. The flavor has some lambic-like aged cheese, yogurt and mild notes of tart berries. Medium tartness. Very lambic-like. Loved it.

Bottle from the barrelworks. Pours clear golden, medium off-white head, creamy, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is light overall, dusty, lemon, Brett, oak tannin. Flavor is light tart, light plus funky, lemon, Brett, a bit of mineral water and floral notes. Light body. Refined, but less complex than previous batches.
