COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Developed as a bridge between newer, juicy West-Coast IPAs and the more rounded tropical, earthy, dank IPA’s going back to their start. More citrus and tropical on the nose cascading into an earthier, slightly bitter finish. Medium malt backbone.

Itzjerm (3950) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - SEP 8, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2021 Not very juicy or impressive. Malty with muted flavors. Balanced but not my kind of ipa. Not well done.

nearbeer (7699) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 8, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2021 12 ounce with no canning date. Clear, brassy golden pour with a huge spongy head. Aroma has caramel, grapefruit, resin and toasted grain. Tastes of the same mix, plus mildly peppery lemon zest and tea leaf. Touches of mint and wild garlic develop in the aftertaste deeper into the glass. Light-medium bodied with medium-plus fizz and a nice dry slant. Nicely nuanced homage to old school West Coast IPAs blended with a few notes from the newer hop strains.

Shag (3519) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - MAR 8, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2020 A golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, orange, and grapefruit. The flavor is quite bitter with some citrus and pine. Date I call it old school? Aftertaste is also bitter. Overall very nice IPA..

Suttree (7121) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 11, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2020 Tap at the brewery. Orange, cloudy, with splotchy foam. Citrusy, orange aroma, but more grapefruit in the flavor. Just a touch of toasty malt. Pretty tasty beer.

Mr.Spooks (4080) - Tennessee, USA - NOV 4, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 Diacetyl city. Big grapefruit and passion fruit hop notes backed up by pine and a caramel malt base, but it all gets pushed aside by the buttered popcorn finish, thick and off-putting. Not what you want in a brewery’s sole IPA.
