COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can West Coast Session IPA Contract brewed by First Chop for Flavourly in 2019 Inspired by the West Coast of America, USA is a flavour-packed session IPA. Amarillo and Centennial hops fill it with aromas of tropical fruits, then flavours of grapefruit, lemongrass and a touch of pine all appear on the palate before leaving you with a smooth, perfectly bitter finish. The collaboration range is not guaranteed gluten-free, nor is it certified by the coeliac society.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 Jan 2022. Same as last time (but a less harsh score of 2.4): Oct 2020. Small can from a Flavourly bargain box bought on Wowcher which turned out to be mainly lagers or lager style beers, and mostly low abv. Not really my thing, so not really a bargain. At the moment I have a house full of boxes of lagers and lager style beers bought from these internet beer clubs. And when I fancy a proper beer, there is nothing in the house to drink. This is a hoppy lager style beer in which the modern hops dominate. Not my thing. [2.2]

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2020 330ml can. Dark gold, frothy white head, good lacing, black sediment bits floating at the bottom. Aroma of malts, quite dank with wheat, light citrus and aromatic hops. Taste is moist, malty, grain, background fruits, moderate bitterness, slight dry. Decent body. A strange beer and quite malty for a session IPA. I didn't dislike it, but just confused with what is trying to be achieved here.

AWS9 (1181) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 11, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2020 Can. Light, watery mouthfeel. Touch oily. Flavours are quite mild, but what is there is a nice caramel/hops/malt combo. Could use some stronger flavours and character, but it's drinkable enough.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2020 Very refreshing if somewhat basic IPA. Prefer a bit more hoppiness in this style of beer, but served cold this is certainly easy to drink
