MarcinG (3458) - POLAND - MAR 24, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 24, 2021 Butelka. Mętne o brudnym, rubinowym kolorze. Piana różowa, opada szybko. W aromacie I smaku kwasno - słodkie wiśnie, wiśnie w likierze, trochę kwasku cytrynowego, kompot. Mało się tutaj dzieje, co nie zmienia jednak tego, że piwo jest naprawdę fajne w odbiorze. Małe abv sprawia, że jest idealne w gorący, wiosenny dzień...

Bosskie (1252) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 24, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2020 Muddy purple colour, weak white head. Smell is intense sweet-sour cherries. Behind this hints of wood and some bitterness. Taste is creamy, almost like yoghurt, with a huge fizz. Very gentle and smooth, surprising after the intense nose. Finish is crisp, with a hint of minerals and clay.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2020 33cl draught at Black Cat, Kecskemét (Hungary). It has a very light foam, but medium Co2, some curious cherryseed aroma, but taste is Ok, almost dry feeling.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2020 Illat alapján a meggy márka típus. Azonban ízre nagyon nem tolakodó. Inkább száraz, és nagyon könnyen iható. A sav nem jellemzi hála istennek. 😁

Grumbo (14439) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 12/9/2020. Bottle at the Ale House, Chelmsford (as Floris Kriek). Pours very dark cherry red with a small off-white/pink head. Aroma of fresh cherry, cherry bakewell tart, almond and marzipan. Medium sweetness and light bitterness/tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Wasn’t my choice but quite enjoyed it.

CraftyBob (122) - Horsham, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2020 Pours a rich, dark, cherry pulp colour with a slight haze and pink foam. Main aromas are of cherry and almond with a touch of dankness. A well-carbonated beer, the initial taste is of sweet cherry pie which gives way to a souring estery bite on the finish. Decent body for the ABV.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2019 I’m discovering these nice Kriek beers, quite aromatic and tasteful, in this case also light at 3.5% ABV. Going down too fast. :)

bilcho1 (1487) - Ruse, BULGARIA - JUL 11, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2019 330ml bottle drunk at home on a perfect July evening. Pours opaque ruby pink with not a lot of head, some lacing but no visible rising carbonation. On the nose, sour cherry and hints of mirabelle plum. In the mouth, medium carbonation, sour from the first sip and throughout but not excessively so, minimal apparent sweetness but there is plenty in the aftertaste, sour cherry flavour, thin but not watery before a dry finish, no real bitterness, just sour. A fairly one-dimensional fruit beer that only a lambic lover could love.

3.3
dimeon (1601) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 22, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 22, 2019 Although Floris loves to cut corners, this version of a kriek is not the worst ever. Light sour cherry notes.
