COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full Disclosure: This beer came to fruition because we saw a gap in our portfolio and we wanted to increase our market share. Sometimes the truth hurts. But most often, it’s damn refreshing. The Truth Imperial IPA--the latest addition to our year-round portfolio-is a hop bomb of some of the most distinct Pacific Northwest hops available today. Its sharp hop bitterness begins with huge pine notes on the nose, which evolve into bright citrus (think grapefruit) and subtle stone fruit flavors.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2021 What's the truth? Back home in the city. How long will I be here? To be determined. Maybe just long enough to finish this beer.

KegAromas63 (46) - - OCT 6, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2021 Poured from a 19.2 oz can into a glass. Thin head, some lacing. Piney and citrusy aroma. Orange color. Bitter right off the bat, citrus comes after, bitterness lingers. This one is for the true hop heads, in my opinion.

DraftPours23 (2632) - FRANCE - MAY 2, 2021

climberbob (777) - Virginia, USA - FEB 25, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2021 Can into tulip. Dark tan with decent head. Smells like a citrusy DIPA with a combo of tropical hoppy notes and undertones of malt sweetness. Taste is less exciting. No real tropical notes and more muted generic IPA. borderline to become too bitter for me. Some will like that, but I probably won’t get again because of that.

ozzatoadisback (452) - ITALY - JAN 22, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 22, 2021 Pours a hazy deep amber, with about one finger of white head. Decent enough persistence and lacing. Quite simple but nicely bright aroma shows a bit of a sweetish foundation followed by a relatively strong resinous/piney feel and citric notes (most notably grapefruit). Taste follows the aroma closely, with a bit less 'brightness' and definition to it. Medium sweetness and medium to high bitterness in the mouth, and a bitter edge in a semi-dry finish and aftertaste. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Goes down easy, super-drinkable for such high abv. Overall enjoyable.
