UPDATED: MAY 29, 2020 Nera come la notte, schiuma nocciola molto fine e persistente. Aromi di malto tostato, caffè, cioccolato fondente, nocciola, pistacchio, leggermente terrosa e fumosa. Molto rotonda, con corpo medio e carbonazione quasi inesistente.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2019 Ottima Marrone scuro ampia schiuma marroncino pannosa, aroma di cioccolato, al palato cioccolato amaro, torba, carbone. Cremosa.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2019 Bottiglia. Il naso riconosce segni di caffè. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore del liquido è scuro totalmente impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona e duratura. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si attestano impressioni di caffè, liquirizia, pane tostato e agrumi.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2018 Bottle 0.33L. Dark brown body with a small, creamy tan head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing. Moderate malty (roasted, light caramel) aroma with notes of dark chocolate, some coffee and light nuts. Moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; average-lasting dry finish with dark chocolate notes. Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

Bottled 330ml. -from Eataly Trieste. Black coloured, small to medium sized pale beige head, distinct coffee in the nose. Toasted malt, coffee, light chicory and caramel with short dry coffeeish finish. One-dimensional but ok.

On tap at spoons. Medium bodied porter around 40 ibu. Some caramelised malt. Finish is dry. Earthy. Very good.

Pint in wetherspoons. Pleasantly surprised. Tiramisu Black Forest gateau. Smooth.

Bottle at home, expired 15/06/2017 Clear dark brown, brown coarse head. Dark chocolate, cream, ashy, coffee powder, wood, roasted malts, herbal hops. Carbonated, light body, roasted notes, woody with an acidic note. Roasted woody aftertaste with light ashes. To retaste fresh!!!
