UPDATED: NOV 10, 2021 16 oz can. Smells of pine and grapefruit with a touch of toffee. Amber in color and clear. Nice balance, the malts and hop bitterness play well together with the bitter hops winning at the finish. Long lasting bitter finish.

NikkTwist (4993) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 4, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2021 Draft at Strangeloves. Slightly hazy honey amber pour with a thick top of soft white foam. Traditional malty DIPA. Lightly toasted caramel malts. Wet green pinecones. Grapefruit/blood orange pith. Burnished wood. Sweetish but also quite bitter. Not easy drinking but well blended for the ABV.

stevoj (12142) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 7, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2021 16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark, clear golden, small, tight, frothy head. Aroma offers a nice blend of caramel malts and hops. Taste is also a throwback to a simpler IPA, sweet caramelly notes followed by a nice hoppy buzz that lingers and actually grows a bit in the gullet. Surprisingly smooth for a 9% beer.

DrSilverworm (11039) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 29, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 29, 2021 [from recent notes] 16oz can. Dated 8/21/21. Predominantly malty -- big caramel, sort of toasty. Maybe more like a hoppy barleywine right now, with a resiny, lightly piney, more earthy overall hop note. Big bitter taste, lighter sweet, light alcohol bite. Kind of bigger body, lightly dry, crisp lighter carbonation. Some juicy hop comes out more as I go... Significantly better with some grilled leftover pizza alongside... Fine enough, but understandably past its prime at nearly 3 months old..
