DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2020UPDATED: DEC 19, 2020 Copenhagen 19/12 2020. 35,5 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. A very big and probable “frangelic” mountain on the label.
Pours unclear, brown with a red hue. Small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong candy-like, sweet odor mingling with nutty notes. Brown sugar, Nutella. Hazelnut, toffee. Coffee with a load of sugar. Hides the alcohol pretty well.
Light carbonation. Quite thick, soft, smooth, lightly, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Finish is sweet and boozy. Like a nutty liqueur.
Quite a sweet bomb. If you like your croissant with chocolate and Nutella this one is for you.
AlfredoGarcia (530) - Santiago, CHILE - DEC 15, 2020UPDATED: DEC 15, 2020 355 ml bottle. Bought online. dark color, creamy head. super strong hazelnut smell! omg! some chocolate as well (like those with hazelnut in candies) super original, loved it. Taste is strong, but not overly sweet, very well balanced. Aftertaste could be the only backside of this beer, but i really loved it! Recently i tasted the famous 'imperial stout' of Founders, but i found this one way better.
