UPDATED: SEP 5, 2021 Copenhagen 5/9 2021. 35,5 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Old Gandalf-like backwoods bastard with an axe on the label. 2017 release. Pours opaque dark brown with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing. Aroma is intense with a malty and boozy sweet odor mingling with a sourish scent. Sweet malts, boozy wood, licorice, leather and tobacco. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is rather bitter with a salty touch. Lingering. Finish is quite dry. A quite accomplished dark boozer with a fine touch of rough seaside.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2021 Bottle sample at a tasting. Deep red-bronze with beige head. The aroma has notes of bourbon, wood, coconut, cherries, oxidized. The flavor is mild sweet and mild bitter with notes of alcohol, wood, bourbon, cherries, vanilla, oxidized, alcohol. Full-bodied.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2021 This beer 🍺👌😍 wow scent is scotch bourbon like, flavor rich and sweet, vanilla butterscotch all the way to licorice feel is superb only thing that would make this taste better would be a 40 degree day and leaves 🍃falling 😋
