UPDATED: MAR 10, 2021 2 oz. bottle 9.2% abv. Pours a medium, off white lasting head, with slight lacing, over clear reddish body.....nose is raspberry, mild herbal tones.....taste is raspberry, sweet, mild herbal hop tones, slight bitter finish.....mouth feel, medium light body, alcohol tones, mild carbonation. This is an atypical, drinkable fruit related beer.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2020 Pours deep red with white lacing foam. Nice sweet raspberry aroma, sweet raspberry taste as well, still a very strong beer. (Velp 202005)

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2019 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear ruby red with a fizzy big pink head which is gone quickly. Big fruit scents. Nice sweet and sour berry flavors with an astringent finish. Like everything from Founders quite well made.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2019 12 ounce bottle at home. Smell the sweet berries to the nose. Deep red in color with very little head. Taste the raspberries and sweetness. Smooth and pushing heavy bodied. What an awesome beer. Cheers!

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2019 beautiful bright red color; nice raspberry aroma with a few spicy yeast notes; sweet raspberry flavor with some spice notes; a bit too sweet in my opinion - I'd have preferred it to be more tart; smooth and easy drinking for a pretty high gravity beer

Look: pours a beautiful raspberry red, little bit of a white head Smells- fresh crushed raspberry, little medicinal character Taste- a little too much "cough medicine" quality for my taste. warm alcohol flavor. Feel- nice carbonation Overall- a little too sweet and cough syrupy for me

Beer tasting @ fillepolo 8/8-15. Bottle from Systembolaget. Fruity with a lot of raspberries, also sweet. Body is medium, the finish is fruity and sweet with raspberries.

Pour out of bottle, slightly hazy reddish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big raspberry, raspberry jam, some lemon, hints of fruity notes into a bit of red fruits. Taste was a mix of big jam, raspberry, sweet fruity notes, some slight fruit, finishing fairly sweet. I personally like the backstage version better.

This is juice. This is not beer. I would drink this with my pancakes in the morning.

This one has been revised for 2015. Pours brownish red with a fairly thick buff head. Malty aroma has a firm overtone of raspberry. Flavor is mainly sweetish and slightly sour raspberry, with malty and subtle hoppy undertones. Mouthfeel is firm, smooth and lively. Don’t blush, order one.
