UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Toronado barleywine fest 2019. Deep Amber in color with a well formed off-white head. Great aroma of toffee, bourbon, maple syrup. Pretty sweet honey toffee maple and bourbon flavor. Fairly full, a little syrupy. Really nice though.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 Slightly cloudy, reddish amber, light tan head. Lots of maple syrup, vanilla, caramel on the nose. Sweet, slightly chewy, lots of caramel and maple. Big and beefy and rich, maybe a little too big for me. Bottle, aged a few years.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2021 Bottle. Dark amber color. Caramel in the slightly herbal aroma. Vanilla, maple syrup. Sweet flavor with caramel, herbal, maple syrup, bourbon and vanilla. Warming alcohol.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2021 Bottle from Cascadia, View Royal, BC. Nice ara of grapes and toasted marshmallow. Rich sweet taste with raisins and toffee. Excellent.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2021 Amber, clear with a offwhite head. Aroma of dried fruit, wooden barrels and malt sense. Sweet with a warm wooden barrels and dried fruit end.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2021 bottled 2018. Murky brown orange color with foamy off-white head which stays long. Aroma of bourbon, maple syrup, caramel and raisins. Taste is sweet, has caramel and raisins combined with bourbon barrel presence which is balanced nicely with maple syrup. Bourbon finish. Full body, average carbonation. Excellent beer once again from founders, pure treat

UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 Murky brown pour light head. Aroma is sweet malt and raisin. Taste adds sweet molasses and a pleasant bitter undertone. Very nice.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2021 Medium brown with tiny brown head. Aroma is sweet malt and molasses. Full body with not really that much alcohol. Flavor is fairly dry compared to aroma. Even somewhat bitter in a non-hoppy way. There is some caramel and malt flavor though. Not as complex as I would have hoped but surprisingly drinkable.
