Goodgrief (2546) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - JUL 10, 2018UPDATED: JUL 10, 2018 On tap at Founders! Pale pour little aroma. This has a lot of coffee in it! It’s a weird experience to have a pale ale with coffee. I like it. Mild sweetness of citrus and grain. Little balancing hop bite. Nice.

MarcoDL (8408) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2017Bottle. Orange golden pour. Aroma of cold coffee mostly and some malt. Flavor of cold brewed coffee, malt, peach and caramel. Nice one.
jgb9348 (9218) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2017Nice ever so slightly hazy copper and bronzed coloured body with a thinnish, tan head about a single centimetre tall. Aroma of pure coffee along with a touch of caramelised sugars, some mellow malt and a dose of other herbs. Light to Medium-bodied; Astringent flavour at first with some noticeable malt and no real sweetness, but a lot of coffee flavours, which aren’t very bitter, but finishing with a more smooth and subdued malt flavour. Aftertaste shows some malt and coffee notes with a light dry herbal flavour and a touch of bitterness from the coffee rather than hops or malt. Overall,a decent beer that shows an interesting bite from the coffee, but no real hops throughout make for this more as a beer akin to Odd Side’s Bean Flicker, which categorises itself as a Blonde with Coffee, while this is a APA with coffee - but tastes more of a blonde. I sampled this twelve ounce stubby bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2016 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 21-May-2017.
CObiased (690) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - APR 29, 201712oz bottle - it pours a mostly clear golden yellowish orange with a med to thin almost white head. The aroma is almost entirely coffee. Good coffee flavor throughout with subtle notes of wheat, light malt and a little bit of caramel in the aftertaste.
tillmac62 (808) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - APR 20, 2017BOD 8/10/16. Clear copper pour with a light touch of amber. Outstanding head volume, normal lacing and retention.
Outstanding nose of soft rich coffee over a slightly sweet base. Caramel is hinted at, while a slightly sweet fruit ( possibly peach ) note is the most evident background sensation. The aromas are well balanced but severely dissipate in about 5 minutes.
Medium body with a texture that is deceptively smooth and quite slick. The carbonation / body balance is normal to slightly under carbonated. Mid-palate effervescence is adequate but quite enough to really open the flavors up. The finish is a light tingle.
The flavor profile is very good but a bit deceptive relative to the nose. Coffee is present but remains a background player rather than stealing the show. That said, the beer is exquisitely balanced. Nothing dominates - but - nothing really shines either. Coffee makes itself noticeable just before the finish in a subtle fashion. Overall, it is a nice blended flavor of light sweet fruit, light caramel, very little bitterness and coffee. The finish is smooth and a touch of coffee lingers.
SHANER4 (506) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - APR 19, 2017On tap - has typical pale ale appearance with a mild coffee taste and scent. Taste is pretty good and goes down easy. Body is thin and aftertaste is minimal. Overall an ok beer and would have again.
