UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Excelente porter premiada como la 4° mejor del mundo en su categoría. Cerveza negra, buena espuma de retención media y muy fina a pesar de su apariencia. Dulce con chocolate y café prevaleciendo, bastante rica cómo un postre.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2021 Light brown creamy full lasting head. Black colour. Aroma is malty, roasty with coffee, cocoa powder and licorice notes. Flavor is malty with dark chocolate and gently roasty tones, ending in a silky and chocolatey finish. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2021 355ml from Doreca drinks shop in Rome drinking 03/12/2021 bottled on 08.25.20 Pours a nice black body with large frothy dark brown head and strong sticky lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and cocoa, dried fruit and prunes, licorice, chocolate, caramel. Taste is rich and sweet, with notes of roasted malt, caramel and smoke at first, coffee, dried fruit and chocolate and a velvety silky palate, really pleasant, a much more pronounced very hoppy and bitter finish still with dominant roasted malt and chocolate notes, really drinkable and not too intense though, really easy and smooth. Great aftertaste. Surprisingly no alcohol detected for 6.5% abv. Thick medium to full body and smooth creamy-watery texture, soft carbonation. Really easy and balanced porter, absolutely lovely and great tasting, even quite hoppy.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2021 355ml bottle from Albert Heijn. Pours brown, blackish, small tan head. Gone fast. Aroma's of coffee, deep caramelized sugar, molasses, cigars, earthy hops. Feels much stronger than the actual ABV. Very balanced and rather slick too.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2021 Flaska från SB. Svart kulör med brun skumkrona. Doft och smak av kavring, mörk choklad, kakao och lite kaffe. Torr munkänsla.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2021 Bottle 35.5cl @home poured into a shaker. Opaque deep brown colour with a ruby hue, good stable frothy tan head, good lacing. Rich aroma, roasted malts, cocoa, cocoa powder, black coffee, liquorice, hint of smoke, faint notes of dark spices. Thick velvetty taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, dark chocolate, dark hard candy, coffee groundings, some liquorice, dark spices, light retronasal smokiness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering roasty sweetbitter aftertaste with chocolate and coffee notes, well-balanced, rich and round, a feast to drink, excellent stuff.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2021 Tap @ BeerTemple, Amsterdam X 2021. Knapgemaakte droge gerookte mout stout. Die ik toevallig bij BeerTemple aan de tap dronk en paar dagen later in het schap van AH weer terug vond. Me eerste review wijkt niet veel af van de tweede gebottelde review. Fantastische geroosterde droge koffie chocolade mout stout die vol in smaak zit. Waarbij de koffie over de chocolade heerst. Laag in zijn koolzuur en redelijk vloeibaar maar fantastische diep bruine kleur die perfect bij de diep droge intense smaak past. Hoeveel moersleutel stouts je er ook tegen aan gooit dit is een klassieker waar geen noviteit tegen gewassen is. Geroosterde chocolade koffie mout geur. Waarbij de geur weer de koffie overheerst. Maar!!!!! In de rematch rustig thuis i.p.v. de kroeg. Kan je pas echt de subtiliteit van deze vol van smaak zijnde Porter genieten. Waarbij deze Porter alleen maar naar nog grotere hoogtes stijgt. UPDATED: OCT 6, 2021 nice roasted nuts, cocoa, coffee, caramel aroma. taste is caramel, t, burnt bread, slight tang, hop flavor compounds., low carbonation over all a nice full porter.
