UPDATED: JAN 10, 2022 Can, from Beer52. Jet black, pale beige head and gentle condition. Slightly creamy in the nose with a muted roasted coffee bean note, full bodied and sweet in the mouth with hints of liquorice and coffee, a slight fruitiness and a delicate touch of chocolate. Finish is sticky and lightly sweet, with a low fruity blackcurrant note and some creamy coffee lingering.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 Coffee black pour, light tan head. Rich, chocolatey with some caramel and tobacco. A little rubber and a roasted finish.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 Canned, 330ml from Beer52, Edinburgh. Very dark brown with tan head. There is a pleasant toasty, roasty, nutty character to this, there is a touch of bitumen, some woody notes. Reasonably smoot, drinkable beer, if a touch of wateriness. Late bitter chocolate. Pretty fair.
