COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like Freigeist Abraxas, it’s also inspired by the style Lichtenhainer, but this version is stronger (6% alc.) and contains more lactic sourness. Brewed until 2012 at Braustelle (375 ml bottle), from 2013 at Göller in Zeil (330 ml bottle). Previously brewed at Brauerei Göller

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2020 Bottle, 14 juli 2020. Accidentally rated this as Freigeist Abraxas at first, corrected om 18 juli 2020 thanks to Zlotta. Color: Lightly hazy light orangish amber, white head. Aroma: Malty, smoked meat / smoked bacon. Taste: Wheat malt, subtle smoked meat, subtle caramel and grainy notes. Moderate sweet, light bitter, weak lactic sourness.. Quite smooth, dry-ish mouthfeel. Somewhat more bitter and dry at finish. Nice one, unique taste, nice complexity.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2020 330ml bottle, thanks Sinh4 for this! Unclear orange, no head. Aroma has a light lichtenhainer smokiness, malty. Taste continues with a gentle smokiness guiding you throughout, soft malt with a tart fruitiness just within reach. Quite enjoyable.

Badylatko (558) - POLAND - MAR 20, 2020

Aurelius (6702) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 14, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 14, 2020 Wheaty, cigarette/pear smoke aroma. Clear. Strange silver tallboy with a stick-on label. Cidery, smoky, fizzy, thin, tart. Interesting. Kinda reminds me of smoked apples - I've never had those, but I think I'll make me some. This is easy drinking and entertaining. Market Square Liquors, Tallahassee.

bdleedahl (4795) - , Saxony, GERMANY - FEB 25, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2020 Cool unique beer. Quite smoked, pleasantly so. But also a clear mild complementary tartness. Light body. Hopcult Dresden

jamestulloch (7262) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 12, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2020 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear golden body with no head. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of smoked malt, ham and red apple. Flavour follows the aroma. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. It’s interesting but I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it.
