COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This year’s (2017) release of B-Bomb is aged in 12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel strength Winter Ale. This special edition adds toasted coconut to complement the bourbon, oak, cacao, and leather notes achieved from B-Bomb’s extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that Coconut Edition B-Bomb will age gracefully for years to come. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Abominable. Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Crystal-120, Munich, Roast Barley, Carafa-2, and Chocolate malts with Columbus, Willamette, and US Golding hops with coconut.

Guaro (288) - Ello, ITALY - NOV 7, 2021

Antonio369 (629) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 21, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2020 65 cl bottle, served in a snifter. Poured dark Brown, almost black with two finger tan head. Aroma: Chocolate, toasted coconut, bourbon, vanilla, coffee, caramel, roasted nuts, toffee, plums, raisins. Taste: dark chocolate, toasted coconut, espresso beans, vanilla, bourbon, charred oak, caramel, toffee, candycane, muscovado sugar, nutmeg, plums, sultana, Christmas pudding, dried dark fruit, oatmeal raisin cookies. Oily mouthfeel. Medium to full body with a roasted bittersweet finish. The coconut is present but very subtle. At least it is a natural flavour and not stuffed with all kinds of artificial additives which seems to be a trend today among brewers. Awesome complex tastes is what you're getting here due to a fantastic barrel aging program. Fantastic brew!

commonmac (2083) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2020 Bomber style bottle shared by Highendtully. Garage is the less than ideal setting in the winter. Molasses appearance...looks like a dark cola. Aroma is beautiful... coconut, dark chocolate, and dark fruit. Taste brings in plenty of bourbon with caramel and chocolate leading the way before an overflow of coconut. Boozy characteristics are hard to ignore. Rich and indulgent. Absolutely delicious but definitely one for small doses. Bourbon notes more prevalent as it warms.

wetherel (3694) - Cupertino, California, USA - SEP 30, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2020 On tap at Taplands in San Jose. Deep rich black color. Interesting body: medium to low viscosity, but high sweetness, a great combination. Lots of coconut, vanilla barrel character. Sweet toffee and caramels. Bitterness hidden by sweetness. Excellent.
