On tap at the brewery as "Fresh Hop 2016". Pours a hazy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is dank, blueberry, mango. Medium body, juicy hop, grass, citrus, light bitterness, very nice.

Draft at SB. Man, I just absolutely love this time of year without a doubt. Pours a cloudy medium orange-amber with a loose off-white head that sticks around for quite a while. Bright floral and spicy nose with some softer citric notes underneath. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel base under some spicy, floral, and orange juice notes on the mid palate. Nice balanced finish.

on draft along side the mosaic / Equinox. Golden pour little cloudy, the other is a little crisper in color. The aroma is a little hoppy and more citrus on the Citra. With the mosaic being a little more floral with hops. Flavor is similar but still distinct, Citra, is fresh hop forward with the citrus finish little malt and not much bite, the Mosaic, is again hop up front but a little more floral with a decent bite finish. Both great beers, Citra 3.9 Mosaic 4.0

On tap @ UBG. The original "orange label" Cowiche Canyon, I don’t think this is being bottled anymore. Pours slightly hazy medium orange golden with thin lacy white head. Aroma is fresh grassy vegetal hops, light citrus on the back. Taste is clean lightly sweet malt, super crisp fresh hops - juicy citrus notes are much stronger here with loads of those same cut greenery notes. Not unpleasant at all, but kinda dominant. Solid beer but clearly inferior to OG Citra/Simcoe Cowiche.

Pour is a nice copper color with a short lived head. Aroma is the highlight with lots of different notes. Tangerine, cream sickle, light cracker and some more vegetal notes. Flavors are similar with some danker notes especially on the finish. Good carb and and crisp dry finish with a little lingering hop oil and lemon. Solid wet hop.

Bomber poured a clear tarnisjed gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of straw, dank bud, grassiness, grapefruit and light mint. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, citrus, mint and grassiness with a smooth dry moderately bitter lingering grassy finish.

Bottle. Mostly clear honey-gold with a decently sized white head. Aroma is hoppy and lightly malty giving the impression of grass, orange, apricot, grapefruit, faint pine, toasted grain, wet hay. Medium bodied, moderately sweet , juicy and slightly oily with a plump cushion of carbonation. Pretty nice orange-grapefruit-apricot effect in the nose with good flavor balance.

Clear orange with a tall white head. Aroma is like slightly dank pot, lemon, and light sweet malt. Comes across fresh and inviting but also a bit off-putting at the same time. Medium body with good carbonation. Flavor is bright citrus and lemon, spunky weed, light sweet bread. Bright hop bitterness rounds the finish out. It tastes very fresh and is quite a nice pale, the strong weed notes put me off a little, however.
