UPDATED: NOV 1, 2021 Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a light cloudy dark amber with a moderate sized beige head, plenty of retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, spice, hay, dried fruits. Promising. Taste is very malty and semi-sweet but flavoursome with caramel, dried fruits, spice and grassy hops give a nice level of bitterness. Very nice indeed.

Terriblement bon !!!

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2021 Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a slightly hazy chestnut brown colour with a large thick creamy off-white head. Aroma is very nutty, with fruit cake, brown bread and caramel. Taste is again nutty with lots more fruit cake, brown bread, caramel and a touch of brown sugar. Perfect bitterness on the finish. Medium to full body with a smooth oily mouthfeel. Fantastic beer and my favourite from Fullers.
