0,5 l flaske på RBHD-treff i Vatlandsvåg, 2018. Disig dyp oransje kropp med lysebrunt skum. Lukter brent karamell, vanilje og toffee. Smaker søtlig karamell med svakt balanserende bitterhet og noe alkovarme. Myk å drikke.

Bottle shared at RB/HD at Vatlandsvåg 14.07.18. Translucent mahogany. Foamy and persistent beige head and lacing. Excellent aroma of dates, prunes, syrup, honey and medium dark malt. Taste of dried berries, roasted malts, prunes, rasins, grapes and bitter plum jam. Superb aftertast!

Shared botle at Vatlandsvåg. Pours almost clear deep golden with a tiny head. Aroma of oak and barrel, rich malty. Taste is light sweet sticky malts, lots of oak and wood for balance, some green apples and armagnac, lovely sipper

Excellent brew, armagnac cask is noticeble, some vanilla, alcohol warth, fruit notes and very delicate grape taste. Excellent body, some sweetness, not too much. Some delicate calvados notes - apple, an excellent brandy-beer hybrid. Perfect strong ale.

500ml bbEND2022 No15579, origins unknown, could be a HH gift...? Paired in discerning Bcompany to go with crisp goatcheese & apricot brick dessert. #4000 - Now if I’d known this goes for £100 at the source nowadays I might have kept it cellared & served a pedestrian KBS instead... - Smooth & svelte mahogani pour, deepbeige head. Lighthearted aroma=bouquet of vanilla, fresh red plums as in ruby port, apple brandy (Calvados) and poireau, subtle cognac whiffs, milk chocolate left behind by Mon Chéri. - Fruity with apple&pear in flavour, like a distilled essence (Poire Williams, Zibärtle), chocolate underneath spread thin like a vapour. Amazingly light and silky on the palate, ideal for dessert pairing. The cask character outgrows the beer, especially the malt base on repeated sipping - a delightful dessert share.

500ml Bottle. Pours with a hazy, dark amber color and a small off-white head. The nose is quite nice: dried fruits, vanilla, toasted malts, woody, slightly liquor sweetness. the nose is getting sweeter and sweeter. Taste of wood finish from the cask, dry, toffee and caramel, dried fruits. Nice cognac/armagnac finish. Good one. Glad to have some in the cellar :-)

Garrafa nº 22653 Cor âmbar com tons caramelo, brilhante e translúcida com perlage intenso e denso; espuma marfim de alta formação e alta persistência com pouco lacing. Aroma muito fresco e agradável. Em primeiro plano, muita maçã; percebe-se também caramelo e frutas secas (uvas-passa); em segundo plano, leve álcool e Madeira com um toque de conhaque e com a elevação da temperatura, vinho do Porto. Sabor inicial de caramelo e maçã com final seco, picante, um pouco amadeirado e muito refrescante; retrogosto com dulçor de maçã , além de amadeirado e alcoólico, lembrando um pouco conchaque. Corpo médio, alta carbonatação. Altíssima drinkability, o que surpreende por ser uma cerveja envelhecida.
