UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 Pours to a dark ruby red / brown with a quickly dissipating head. Medium carbonation. Nicely balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, not too strong on the roast malts. Malty bitterness balanced with hoppy bitterness. Nice lingering coffee malt bitterness. A tad more sweetness would be welcome but very fine.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2021 A la vista es una cerveza muy bonita. De color casi negro, con tonos marrones. Abundante espuma color crema y muy duradera. En el aroma destacan los torrefactos de la malta, café y chocolate. Los sabores en la misma línea, de entrada algo dulce y final amargo. Notas muy marcadas a café, cereal tostado y algo de chocolate. El cuerpo y la carbonatación son medios, lo que la hace bastante bebible. Conforme gana temperatura se van asomando más matices. Buenísima porter.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2021 Color negro, muy lindo, espuma beige de larga duración, brillante, no es turbia. Olor a café. Sabor a café amargo y final terroso. Cuerpo medio a ligero, carbonatación baja. Creo que es una buena cerveza aunque no puedo ser objetivo porque no me gusta mucho el café

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2021 Bottle, danke Günther! Very dark brown, tan to brown creamy head. Rye bread roast, fresh herbal and minerally hops. Medium light body, dry salty iodine, a hint rubber, caraway, coffee, dry edgy finish.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2021 500ml burk som ersatt flaskan senaste året (åren). Beige krämigt skum som ligger kvar länge, fin mörk djupröd brun färg på ölet. Stark arom av milt rostade toner, bränt socker och svarta vinbärt från humlen. Munkänslan är len och lätt samtidigt som kroppen är medium fyllig och med en sötma som hör till, utan att bli för mycket av varken det ena eller andra. Medium låg kolsyra. Mycket välbalanserad och lättdrucken! Smak av mjölkchoklad, mjukrostat kaffe och karamell och men en len beska i avslutningen som gör att man vill ta en klunk till. En favorit som man inte tröttnar på på grund av sin otroliga balans och lättdruckenhet utan att vara intentsägande, tvärtom!

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2021 Bottle from Waitrose. Pours black with a medium sized thick creamy beige head. Aromas of milk chocolate, roasted malts and a touch of coffee. Taste has more notes of milk chocolate, a touch more coffee and a roasty but also sweet finish. Medium body and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Pretty good but not as nice as i remember it to be.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 Dar with no head. Smell of malt, chocolate and sligh hints of coffee. Taste is malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee and slight dark fruit afterhints. A great simple and traditional porter

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2021 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours near black, small tight beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is toasty, malts, toffee, sweetness. Taste is malts, dark chocolate, light coffee, creamy, sweetness. Extremely moreish. Body is smooth, creamy, soft carbonated. Excellent.
