UPDATED: APR 27, 2020 Nice reddish color. Aroma: berry jam with sweetness, pie with wild berries (blueberries, blackberries and raspberries), caramel. Taste with good texture, malty, caramel, berry jam, pure and calm ale.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2018 Cask at The Fountain Inn, Leek. A clear deep brown colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, slight nuts and subtle hedgerow fruits. Taste of toffee, caramel, slight nuts, a hint of grass and subtle hedgerow fruits. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A sweetish, toffee caramel finish. Sweet and very autumn. Does the job.

Håndpumpet fra cask på Fullers brewery tap room, etter bryggeriomvisning sammen med Steven nov-18: klar rødlig kobber med ok skum. Et maltdrevet øl med behagelige innslag av kjeks, hasselnøtter, karamell, urter og noe jordaktig. Muligens litt overmoden frukt? Lett å helle innpå. Tror denne kunne gjort seg som juleøl.

Cask. Pours a dark brown colour with a fluffy white head with a red tint, the aroma is hoppy with plenty of fruit, malty with caramel coming through with a dry bitter finish.

Cask at The George IV, Chiswick High Road. Pours hazy chestnut body with small head. Caramel, biscuit malts, hints of citrus, autumn berries.

Cask. Pours red with light off-white head. Aroma is copper, pumpkin, some bitter notes, caramel. Taste is metal, bitter, toffee, some old water, leaves, some herbal notes. Nice beer!

Had a couple of pints at the brewery last year. Served in tip top condition. My kinda ale. Pity it is only available in the autumn.
