bigcat03 (568) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - DEC 1, 2017UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 Bottle #91181 poured into a nonic pint to celebrate passing my doctoral defense. Cloudy caramel pour with a tiny of white head. Aroma is apples, plums, and caramel malts. Initial taste is lots of dark fruits, figs, biscuit, some oakiness, and a little alcohol. Aftertaste is light and continues the flavors already mentioned. Very full bodied with light, but active carbonation. I wasn't sure what to expect with this since it was brewed ten years ago, but it has aged well! I believe it's a bit higher than 8.5% now too. Great memories of my last trip to London.
